They are under-appreciated by labels, broadcasters and booking agents, both in terms of recognition and financial terms. From a historical point of view genres like rock and punk have been mostly associated with white British and white US-Americans acts. The music\u2019s originally black roots have been actively concealed for decades. Gegr\u00fcndet im Februar 2020 in Leipzig, mit dem Hintergrund Bands zu unterst\u00fctzen, deren weiblicher Anteil (Frauen\/flinta) an den Instrumenten mindestens 50 % betr\u00e4gt. Feministisch und genre\u00fcbergreifend begann alles mit f\u00fcnf Bands und dem Ziel, mehr Frauenbands zu buchen. Gleichzeitig sind wir der Ansicht, dass Veranstaltungen, bei denen viele Menschen zusammenkommen immer auch politisch sind. Wir sind der festen \u00dcberzeugung, dass die Welt ohne Patriarchat, Nation und Kapital eine bessere w\u00e4re. Daher wollen wir den Rahmen schaffen, um einigen politischen Gruppen die M\u00f6glichkeit zu geben, abseits von und erg\u00e4nzend zu den Konzerten Informationen und Workshops anzubieten. At the same time recognizing that festivals when bringing many together are inevitably political. We want to make a space where people can celebrate and feel safe. An environment open to everyone regardless of;where they were born, physical abilities, sexual orientation or gender. In order for this to be possible,solidarity and awareness are needed. This implies not only avoiding discrimination but also to engage persons that occupy minority positions.\r\nAs a group we practice as feminists, anti-racists, anti-fascists and anti-capitalists. We are convinced that a world without patriarchy, nation and capitalism is a better one. Born and raised in Brazil, she has already played in five bands (drums, bass or vocals) so far. Her first interest in music as a lifestyle came when she discovered the Riot Grrrl movement, and later the vegan sxe hardcore scene.\r\n\r\nThe first bands she fell in love with were Kittie, Team Dresch, Walls of Jericho, Bikini Kill, The Wage of Sin, Most Precious Blood and Point Of No Return.\r\n\r\nAs representation has always been important to her, she soon began organizing D.I.Y. concerts in her hometown (Porto Alegre), which always brought women to the stage. Following this idea, in early 2000\u2019s she founded a D.I.Y.  record label that would release tapes\/CD-R at the time, as well as write a Fanzine, based on the same idea.\r\n\r\nNowadays, her sense of representation in the alternative music scene goes beyond the gender she identifies with.  After moving to Berlin, she has organized shows for bands like \u201cIron\u201d from Sweden, \u201cVales\u201d and \u201cBest of Enemies\u201d from the UK, as well as local bands such as \u201cAnti-Corpos\u201d.\r\n\r\nDuring the 2021 quarantine period, she founded MY PEOPLE RECORDS, a D.I.Y.  RECORD LABEL, aiming to highlight bands with BIPoC, Women identified and\/or LGBT*I Queer members primarily. The idea behind MPR was never just to release records. That's how MY PEOPLE FEST came to life.\r\n\r\nOn weekdays, you can find Lilian taking care of  EVIL GREED's warehouse apparel.\r\n \r\n---\r\n\r\nLilian lebt seit 2013 in Berlin und war seit Ende der 1990er Jahre Teil der brasilianischen Hardcore\/Punk\/Alternative-Community.  In Brasilien geboren und aufgewachsen, spielte sie bisher bereits in f\u00fcnf verschiedenen Bands (Schlagzeug, Bass oder Gesang). Ihr erstes Interesse an Musik als Lebensstil kam, als sie die Riot Grrrl-Bewegung und sp\u00e4ter die vegane SxE-Hardcore-Szene f\u00fcr sich entdeckte.\r\n\r\nDie ersten Bands, in die sich Lillian verliebte, waren Kittie, Team Dresch, Walls of Jericho, Bikini Kill, The Wage of Sin, Most Precious Blood und Point Of No Return.\r\n\r\nDa ihr Repr\u00e4sentation schon immer wichtig war, organisierte sie schon bald, D.I.Y. RECORD LABEL, das darauf abzielt, Bands mit BIPoC-, frauen und\/oder LGBT*I-Queer-Mitgliedern hervorzuheben. Die Idee hinter MPR war nie nur, Platten zu ver\u00f6ffentlichen, sondern auch Shows zu organisieren und Menschen zusammenzubringen. Die Subkultur Punk ist so breit gef\u00e4chert, dass es kaum m\u00f6glichst ist, sie als Gesamtheit anzusprechen. Jedoch eint sie, dass sie nicht immun ist gegen die Reproduktion und Verbreitung von gesellschaftlichen Hierarchien und ungleichen Macht- und Herrschaftsverh\u00e4ltnissen. Und viele Akteur*innen in diesen Zusammenh\u00e4ngen eint, dass sie diese Hierarchien und daraus entstehenden Ungleichheiten sichtbar machen und abbauen m\u00f6chten. Diskriminierung (z.B. (Hetero-)Seximus oder Rassismus) und Ausschl\u00fcsse gg\u00fc. Personen auf der Grundlage ihres Geschlechts, ihrer sexuellen Identit\u00e4t, aber auch aufgrund ihrer Behinderungserfahrung, Ethnie\/Hautfarbe, Klasse etc. sollen demnach bek\u00e4mpft werden.\r\n\r\nDiskriminierung und Ausschl\u00fcsse k\u00f6nnen im Punk sehr unterschiedlich aussehen: Z.B. kann die fehlende Sichtbarkeit (FLINTA*, \u00e4lterer Menschen, Menschen mit Be_hinderungserfahrung, Schwarzer Menschen) als Ausschluss verstanden werden. Aber auch Strukturen, die so wenig aware (aufmerksam) sind, dass z.B. FLINTA* hier leicht Betroffene von \u00dcbergriffen sein k\u00f6nnen und nicht auf die gleiche Weise unbeschwert teil haben k\u00f6nnen wie cis-M\u00e4nner (z.B. Konzerte in denen Sexismus nicht reflektiert wird, sexistische und gewaltvolle Texte und entsprechendes Verhalten, das nicht reflektiert\/belangt wird), k\u00f6nnen als diskriminierend und ausschlie\u00dfend verstanden werden.\r\n\r\nZum Abbau solcher Ausschl\u00fcsse, Diskriminierung, kurz: Ungleichheitslagen, ist ein queer-feministischer1 und intersektionell2 verstandener Feminismus von Bedeutung. F\u00fcr mehr Freiheit und Emanzipation f\u00fcr alle Punx und Punker*innen. Unabh\u00e4ngig von ihrem Geschlecht, sexueller Identit\u00e4t, Be_hinderungserfahrung, Ethnie\/Hautfarbe, Klasse etc. sollen alle gleicherma\u00dfen teilhaben k\u00f6nnen an den Strukturen und Inhalten, die Punk zu bieten hat.\r\n\r\nEin so verstandener Feminismus schlie\u00dft alle ein und schafft weiterhin ein Bewusstsein f\u00fcr Privilegierung in diesem Zusammenhang (z.B. der Privilegien wei\u00dfer cis-M\u00e4nner des globalen Nordens, die \u00fcberall repr\u00e4sentiert sind). Ausschlie\u00dfende Strukturen im Punk werden jedoch potenziell von allen Punx und Punker*innen reproduziert.\r\nDer Hashtag #Punktoo soll f\u00fcr mehr Solidarit\u00e4t, aber auch f\u00fcr Sichtbarmachung von marginalisierten Gruppen, Aufdeckung von implizitem und explizitem Sexismus, \u00dcbergriffen, Gewalt und Ausschluss stehen. Er soll dazu beitragen, unterschiedliche Standpunkte und Personen zu versammeln, mit dem gemeinsamen Ziel den Begriff der Emanzipation wieder in den Punk zur\u00fcckbringen.\r\n\r\n1 Queer-Feminismus betont die Bedeutung der gemeinsamen Verortung von FLINTA* in feministischen Bestrebungen und eben nicht nur die Gemeinsamkeit von Frauen.\r\n2 Damit ist die Fokussierung der Wechselverh\u00e4ltnisse zwischen z.B. Geschlecht, Ethnie und Be_hinderungserfahrung gemeint.
